about joulia

Positive. Enthusiastic.
Open book.

who am i

I am Joulia. Mom of two daughters and two dogs (Nola the Dalmatian and Mille the mini Dachshund, who clearly don’t agree on everything). Entrepreneur, life lover with a weakness for sun and new adventures. I love smelling books and magazines, prefer jumping straight into the deep end, and love taking people along for the ride.

Truly living.
Not just surviving.

Coach, author, entrepreneur and bon vivant. But above all someone who knows what it is to crawl through a very deep valley and come out stronger than ever.

I am not a coach who learned about burnout from a book. I have walked a path nobody envies. A ten-year-old in a new country. A young mother doing it alone. An entrepreneur who jumped just before covid. And then that floor in 2024.

And yet. I am so genuinely positive and enthusiastic that I was once rejected for a project because I was “too enthusiastic” for their team. Well, that is their loss.

I don’t share my view on life because I have to. But because I genuinely love it. And I love taking you along on the journey to the best version of your life.

Joulia De Blieck
my story

The moments that shaped me.

2000

Ten years old. A new country.

At ten years old my family moved to Belgium. I knew no one. I didn't speak the language. From one day to the next I was dropped into a classroom and had to figure it out myself. I learned to adapt. I learned to be strong. I learned to survive. That ten-year-old shaped me more than anything that came after.

early

Young mother. Career. Alone.

I had children young and raised them largely on my own. With the support of my family, but the responsibility on my shoulders. I built a career in a man's world, worked long days, founded companies. I worked, I cared, I did everything at once. Stopping was not an option. Keeping going was all I knew.

2020

Self-employed. Just before covid.

In January 2020 I made the move to full self-employment. Two months later the world shut down. What I thought was a new beginning immediately became a survival struggle. In hindsight I understand this was the beginning of a long, creeping overload.

2024

Rock bottom. The beginning.

One evening I lay on the floor of my office. Hysterical, for hours. I didn't know how I would ever get up again. The next day I went to the doctor and asked for help for the first time in my life. That was the hardest thing I have ever done. And the bravest.

now

Coach. Author. Marbella.

Since then I have completely rebuilt my life. I wrote a book, am building an app, launched new projects that give me energy every day. I am more creative than ever. I am moving to Marbella with my youngest daughter. Not despite everything that happened. Because of everything that happened.

marbella

Slow mornings. Palm trees.
My rhythm.

I am not afraid of hard work. But on my own rhythm. Not that 9-to-5 mentality, always traffic, always rushing, watching life fly by.

I am 37. It is now or never. And soon I will start my day with a cup of coffee on the terrace, my daughter beside me, a palm tree in view.

That is not running away. That is a conscious choice for a different life.

Joulia De Blieck
what i stand for

Less norm.
More heart.

01

Honesty above all

No polished stories. No perfect coach who has it all figured out. I share what is real, even when it isn't pretty.

02

Energy as compass

I choose projects and people that give me energy. For a long time I didn't because of financial pressure. That burns you out. Now I follow my heart.

03

Your norm, not theirs

What is the norm for one person is not necessarily yours. I help you find your own compass. Not someone else's.

“Too enthusiastic for their team.
Well, that is their loss.”
